Time Out Chicago “…a late-night comedy show that’s crafting big laughs and a big following thanks in part to the palpable studio vibe, engaging banter and goofball antics.”
The Onion A.V. Club “…act peppers in an underlying self-awareness and satirical edge, though, as well as that omnipresent sense of danger that comes from doing something live”

At one time a midnight show every Saturday at Second City’s de Maat Theater, The Late Live Show with Joe Kwaczala is currently on hiatus. When we find a new home, we will let you know. Anyway, here’s what we’re about:

Taking the traditional talk show format and injecting it with its own twist, The Late Live Show has everything you’d see in a late-night show: a monologue, sketches, an interview, and music. It’s even taped live in front of a studio audience, so you can watch select clips online. But what makes the show unique is its underlying sense of silliness and absurdity, shaped by the show’s devoted writing staff. You never know what might happen, so come check us out!
